PAMELA OGDEN
Watercolor, Collage
ARTIST’S STATEMENT:
"My artwork springs from a love of the organic, abstracted and filled with color. Whether I am painting with pure watercolors or acrylics or
constructing collages with my painted papers, carved stamps and drawn and printed images, I am remembering always things I have seen underwater
or through blurry glass or glimpsed after being partially blinded by sun or reflections. Real objects and landscapes and even people are made
mysterious and almost unidentifiable by these phenomena. It is this quality of familiar unknowingness that I want to capture on paper and
canvas."
