To become a member of the Virginia
Watercolor Society, one must be a resident of Virginia and pay the annual dues
of $30. The VWS operates on a calendar year. Members receive four
newsletters each year, a membership
list, the prospectus for the annual juried exhibition, and the catalog with
color photos of the winning paintings.

The VWS Juried Exhibition is held annually, and is
located in a different part of the state each year. Water
based mediums are permitted as well as transparent
watercolors. The 29th Annual
VWS Exhibition 2008 will be held in Roanoke,
VA.
Donna Watson will serve as the juror for
the Exhibition.
VWS Membership dues must be paid prior to the
entry deadline to be eligible to enter
the 2008 Juried Exhibition. Membership renewal
forms were included in the November 2007 VWS Newsletter.
Members are also eligible to join the
VWS Members Gallery.
