Artist's Statement:
"Creating works of art is a personal journey which never ends. The greatest joy for me is when I can share the experience.
The process is one which often surprises me, and I am thrilled when I have communicated with the viewer.
I strive to make people respond to my work and find excitement in the world of art."

About the Artist:
Maggie has been painting and creating ceramic works for over 20 years. Growing
up the the Chicago area, Maggie not only experienced art through the resources
of the city, but more importantly, through family involved in the visual
arts professionally. Her work has been awarded in juried shows and presented
in solo gallery exhibitions.
Working in oil, watercolor, and pastel, the
subject matter varies widely and reflects careful attention to color, light,
and texture. The paintings evoke a thoughtful, sensitive response from the
viewer. |
