is my way of communication with others and myself.
I have been working, teaching, and exhibiting in
the Richmond, Virginia area all of my life and I
view each painting as an opportunity to make a visual
statement. It is exciting for me when my students
find art approachable and an outlet for individual
creativity and emotion. My painting reflects the
energy drawn from working with people, the sharing
of enthusiasm for art as a form of communication,
and self expression."

Anne Chaddock has been painting in Richmond, Va.
for over 30 years. She is the owner of For Art’s
Sake Gallery & Studios where she teaches over
130 students per week in the mediums of watercolor,
oil, acrylic, and pastels. Every other year Anne
conducts international workshops in wonderful places
such as Ireland, France, and Italy. She has won many
awards nationally and competes in over 15 exhibitions
yearly.
