2009 SELECTION & FRAMING NOTES
Method of Selection
The juror will make selections of no more than one painting per artist from digital images on a CD. Artists will be notified of the juror’s action and successful entries must then be submitted for the exhibition. Final
jurying will be from actual works with juror’s
right of refusal.
Framing Specifications
All paintings must be ready for hanging with screw eyes and wire, framed under acrylic glazing (no glass), using only white or off-white mats. Poorly matted or framed paintings may be disqualified. Maximum frame size in any direction is 48”. This includes diptychs and triptychs, which must be in a single frame.
Accepted paintings must correspond
to the JPEG submitted. Work that differs substantially
from the entry file will be disqualified. Paintings must
be for sale at your current market price, with 40%
commission to the Lorton Arts Foundation.
